Here are some fun random things that I've done for work, contests, gifts, or just for myself.

Our Bluehost UX team was given an assignment: create a poster that represents us. So, I chose my roller derby alter ego, Ruby Rocket, who’s obsessed with all things space, with my space kitties in tow. I also included mine & my husband’s star signs. I had two main ideas, but ultimately went with the left one (but wanted to show the 2nd idea too). This was my first attempt at trying something in a 3D anaglyph. If you have 3D glasses, check this out, it works! If you don’t have any, I created GIFs to try to show its depth without the 3D glasses.

A logo I designed for Pluralsight’s Design Summit, which was summer camp themed.

Much to my surprise, Instagram randomly chose my David Bowie photograph to be featured in their book, “Life on Instagram” back in 2017 and sent me the book.

I made this for my roller derby teammate, Disco Pony. She was perfect at falling in a scorpion position, so I had to draw this and give it to her. I used Paper for iPad.

Here are some infographics that I designed for Overstock.com. Click on each to see the entire thing.

My cats are two peas in a pod. Miles, the orange cat, loves to bathe Mimi, the black cat, and she loves to cuddle. I thought it would be very fitting to draw them in Klimt’s “The Kiss” style. (Yes, I may be a crazy cat lady)

JCPenney & Nicole Miller’s team reached out to me to collaborate with them on the achievements of the decade-long partnership between Nicole Miller and JCPenney, and the launch of their 10th Anniversary Capsule Collection of Nicole by Nicole Miller. I’m wearing her beautiful [sic] “Ying Yang” dress. I requested a print of the fabric so I could make a “Garden State”-style photograph to highlight the beautiful print. I feel honored that Nicole Miller thought the photograph was “lovely”. I was beyond THRILLED.

This was one of the t-shirts I designed for Experticity.

These poster ideas were an assignment when I worked at Clearlink: redesign a Christmas poster using a different style than its original poster. I chose the very brilliant style of Saul Bass.

I won a t-shirt design contest for fashion designer, Jared Gold’s former clothing store, Black Chandelier.

Here’s a few storyboards I’ve done at a couple of jobs. Some are polished, others messy, but I love being able to tell a story through Sharpie’d illustrations & helping solving problems.

/// Logos feeling old, might delete /// I did these for various companies 17+ years ago. A few of them came from logos I designed through 99Designs. None of these came from clip art, I illustrated all of them.
